New vertical searches'

We've just placed the vertical searches onto the homepage so you don't have to go to google now to search for images, maps etc which should make us a little more user friendly. As always, we're up for any suggestions for improvements, at this early stage in development you, the early user of Yamoogle have a great opportunity to contribute to the search engine to make it a success and have it developed as you like it. Anything from colours to text changes can be influenced at this stage email info@yamoogle.com to put your views across and we'll listen to what you have to say or, if you have something you'd like the rest of Yamoogle to hear then post a comment on this blog!

As always we need you to keep telling your friends about us whether it be on facebook, myspace digg or simply by opening your mouth and s-p-e-a-k-i-n-g to them like we used to do in the old days before the interweb made us poke and CC people instead.

Layout change

Today we made our search results green! Hope this is okay with everyone, we may consider changing it back if it starts to get on peoples nerves but I like it for now! We've also added the (beta)caveat to the logo to make sure people know it's a work in development and rejigged the resulkts page around so that you can see more results on the page and don't have to scroll down as much.

Visits from some green MP's have bouyed the team today, lets hope they start to spread the word!

Welcome!

Welcome to the blog of Yamoogle! Well, we're still in beta testing at the moment, tweaking some of our user issues and also making sure that Yamoogle will work accros a wide range of browsers.

We're going to be looking at the most effective way to spend the revenue over the next year in depth and your comments and suggestions on this matter will be very important to us, after all, it's you, the searcher, who'll have raised the money.

How much would you be willing to pay to make your life carbon neutral?
